this painting is based off a photo i took while riding the street cars when i was in san francisco for my cousin's wedding back in february. it took me until now to decide to do a painting of it. im really happy with how it turned out. again, architecture and cross-processed colors seem to do it for me.

30" x 40"
acrylics on canvas.

A Freudian slip is when you say one thing but you mean your mother. :cheese:

In the teeth of these stupefying odds it is you and I, in our ordinariness, that are here.

I love your style. In this piece, I particularly like the detail and way you did what is off in the distance. One minor thing though, the area where the road is flat then slants down is a bit of a harsh and seemingly unnatural transition. It's not a big thing, as the whole piece itself is great. :)

Oh wow. I liked this the second I seen it. I had to show some Bay Area love since SF is right across the bay, but you did a cool thing with this pic. A great amount of detail as well...I like the fade away is it goes further into the distance. I still have trouble believing this is you. O_o (Not that I doubt it, I KNOW you did it ^^; ) It's been too long, haha. Great work. :)
